experience is a factor
One thing is for sure, the design industry is much greener than it was back then. Today,
the tools designers have at their disposal, in terms of power and ease-of-use, are impressive indeed. However, the "peripheral" skillset required
to do the job seems to be shrinking. My skillset is quite broad, and I believe there is great value in that over just knowing how to hit the "Print" button.
